The Mask is a character popularized by the 1994 film, The Mask, starring Jim Carrey. The story centers around Stanley Ipkiss, a mild-mannered bank clerk who discovers a magical, ancient green mask.
Upon donning the Mask, Ipkiss transforms into a zoot-suited, green-faced trickster with reality-bending powers and a larger-than-life personality. He becomes an id-driven force, acting on impulses and desires he normally suppresses.
